Life Over Matcha is where I share my everyday life in Japan.

After spending many years living in the United States, I recently returned to Japan. Coming back has made me appreciate the small routines and ordinary moments I once took for granted—shopping at the neighborhood supermarket, cooking with seasonal ingredients, watching the weather change what ends up on our dinner table, and finding comfort in familiar daily habits.

I don’t write because I think my way of living represents everyone in Japan. Every family, neighborhood, and household has its own routines and traditions. 

I simply write about my own.
